Chasin' Chickens™

Where did we get the name? It started with a wonderful time-passer: the What On Earth catalog. They have the greatest T-shirt sayings. Anyway, one of their shirts says:

“They say I have A.D.D. but they just don't understand.
  Oh Look! A chicken!”

We started referring to that quote when we got sidetracked, usually when online. Have you ever opened a browser with a specific task to look something up and see a headline on your home page that you start reading and clicking and... well, two hours later you realize that you had sat down for a reason and can't remember what it was? We began sheepishly saying things like "I saw a chicken..." or "I was chasin' chickens again..." It seems appropriate, doesn't it?

So, that's the history of the phrase. As we find interesting diversions, we'll pass 'em along. Misery loves company? So do procrastinators... If you have any to share, let us know!
